The Department of Social & Political Studies at the University of Milan (Università degli Studi di Milano) is organizing the 3rd International Summer School in Political communication and electoral behavior.
The programme of the Summer School, which will take place from 16 to 20 July 2012 and is sponsored, among others, by the Political Communication Division of the ICA-International Communication Association, includes lectures by UvA-scholars Kees Brants, senior research fellow at ASCoR (Amsterdam School of Communications Research), and Denis McQuail, who held the UvA-chair in General Communication Science from 1977 until 1997 and is known worldwide to countless Communication students for his book Mass Communication Theory (available in its latest 2010 edition at the UvA-library).
